On This Day in Def Leppard History - 27th August, the following concerts and events took place. Including the US release of the single 'Love Bites' 28 years ago on this day in 1988.
The fifth single taken from the 'Hysteria' album which reached number 1 in the US Top 100 singles chart in October.

Also on this day 29 years ago in 1987 the band started their Hysteria world tour in Dublin, Ireland at the SFX Hall. The first of 17 sold out UK shows to kick off a tour that would last until late October 1988.
