Vivian Campbell Won't Continue Last In Line Without Vinny Appice/Andrew Freeman

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has been interviewed by Leslie Derrough and mentioned the future of Last In Line.

Vivian talked about Jimmy Bain's death in January, Andrew Freeman, the history of Last In Line, writing and recording the Heavy Crown album, producer Jeff Pilson, playing guitar, why he won't write a book and their future plans.

Vivian says he will not continue the band unless Vinny Appice and Andrew Freeman also want to carry on.

The band have also found a temporary bass player for their upcoming live shows.

The first of these takes place on 14th April in Las Vegas and serves as a release party for the 'Heavy Crown' album.

"Now that Jimmy is gone, it’s never going to be the same and I’d be lying to myself if I thought it was. But we have found someone who I can’t mention yet but who is a very seasoned, well-known pro and friend of Jimmy’s who will do a very, very good assimilation. But Vinny and I know it’s never going to be quite the same. So yes, for us to proceed, it has to be Vinny and Andrew and myself. If either of those guys bail, I’m done."
