"The motivation for doing it wasn't like the normal thing. You know we didn't have a record company executive or corporations or anyone pushing us to do something. We done it for the love of music and came out with 12 songs. So we just got so pumped and kind of was into writing some new music and it's really diverse. That's what I'd say. It's got the heaviest, loudest guitars we've ever had on a Def Leppard record. And then it's also got the most melodic and over the top backing vocals. You know we've multi-tracked like crazy you know. We done everything on this record. Very different. Every song is like a separate project if you like."
