Def Leppard 2015
Def Leppard will release their highly anticipated new self titled studio album on 30th October and there are 34 days to go.
The band revealed the final running order for the album on Instagram on 14th September.
The first single/radio track Let's Go was then premiered online a day later and released digitally on 16th September.
The album recording started in February 2014 when the band thought they might record one or two songs for a possible online release.
They ended up with 12 in that first session and decided to make a full album. This countdown tells the story of the album over the 2014/2015 recording period as told by the band in various interviews.

"I don't know what you'd call it - we got together and the energy and the electricity in the room when we started writing was just amazing. And we just really wanted to focus on that so for the time being Vegas is kinda on the back burner but not for very long. I mean I dare say we might be doing it at the beginning of next year or Spring or something like that. But the priority is after the KISS tour is to go back and finish the new material and then hopefully they'll be a new album some time you know Spring time 2015 maybe they'll be a new Leppard record."

"We're gonna get together in the middle of this month until the end of May to do some more work and maybe even write more songs. And then after the tour that we do this summer with KISS we'll get back together and start finishing the album off. So we're hoping to have something together for I'd say like Spring time next year."
