On This Day in Def Leppard History - 17th November, the following concerts and events took place. Including the 'Wasted' single reaching number 61 in the UK Top 75 singles chart on this day in 1979.
This was the second single release by the band reaching number 61 on 17th November and spending 3 weeks on the chart.
The band announced a new show for 2015 in Warsaw, Poland on this day in 2014.
The Art Of McCartney tribute album was also released in the UK featuring Def Leppard's cover of 'Helen Wheels' and Joe's cover of 'Hi Hi Hi'. The first studio music released by the band since the 2011 'Mirrorball' album.
Also on this day in 2002 the band started the main X/Ten world tour in Sendai, Japan. The show began with the first ever playing of 'Ring Of Fire'.
The band continued the World Tour 2015 earlier today in Sydney, Australia which was last played in October 2011.
