Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage recorded a demo for new album track Last Dance and a lengthy clip can now be heard online.
A clip featuring half of the song and lasting for one and a half minutes can be heard on iTunes.
The bonus song 'Last Dance (Demo Version)' is included on the Japanese version of the new album and is also available digitally. You can hear half of the track now via the Japanese iTunes store (you won't be able to buy though).
Sav sings lead and backing vocals on the demo which is not too different from the final version.
Sav had hinted in the new UK Classic Rock Fanpack magazine that he would like to record solo music in some form. And he is thinking about doing something but would not class it as a "side project".

This should launch the iTunes Japanese store. Once there click on the new album and you will see the demo as Track 15.

Last Dance Demo Version - Details
The song features all lead and backing vocals by Rick Savage.
The basic drum pattern and acoustic guitar are very similar to the final version.
Obviously Vivian's guitars and guitar solo are missing as are Joe's vocal and the final backing vocals.
It sounds very much like Sav's acoustic guitars from the demo made it on to the final version.
