Tuesday, 12th May 2015

Def Leppard 2016.

Last In Line featuring Vivian Campbell will be part of Def Leppard's 2016 Hysteria On The High Seas cruise it has been announced.

The Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise was announced on 20th March.

The event takes place between January 21st to 25th 2016 sailing from Miami, Florida to the Caribbean.

The band will perform at least three concerts on the MSC Divina cruise ship according to Joe Elliott.

Tom Keifer and many others have already been confirmed to play alongside Lep. The event will be hosted by DJ Eddie Trunk.

Various band members were asked in recent interviews if all the solo bands would be playing and were open to the idea. It seems likely Manraze, Down 'n' Outz and Delta Deep may all feature but none of these have yet been confirmed to play.

The other members of Down 'n' Outz - The Quireboys, played a cruise event last year when bassist Share Ross guested for them. This led to her joining Down 'n' Outz for the 2014 UK tour and now as a permanent member.

Vivian Campbell Interview Quote - Read More

"That'll be a similar kind of thing to Vegas because it's different for us. It would be a reason and an excuse for us to break from the norm. Obviously it's gonna be our more devoted fans who are gonna go to that. You know their not gonna be casual Def Leppard fans. So we have yet to determine exactly what we're gonna do on that. But I think I wouldn't be surprised if you see Ded Flatbird make a re-appearance in their sailor outfits. So it'll be interesting."

Joe Elliott Interview Quote - Read More

"The rock cruise thing's been on for ages. KISS did it last year. Motley have done it I think. It just seems to becoming part of the rock and roll kind of tradition now. It's not just regular touring, let's go and do it on a boat for four days. So it's something that we're really looking forward to."
