Def Leppard performed Hysteria on Norwegian TV in March 1988 and rare video is available plus photos.
The band had played two shows just outside of Oslo on 7th/8th March 1988 when this appearance was taped.
The show called Blikkbax was then broadcast on 12th March and it is now available to watch on the NRK website.
Some of you (like me) may have fond memories of watching this appearance which was widely circulated on VHS in the 90s.
It was not the last time the band would be interviewed by teenagers on Norwegian TV. This happened again in 1995 when they played 'When Love & Hate Collide' - a performance you might remember was featured on the site a few years back. Two teenage girls sat watching the band as they played.
The clip starts with the band performing a playback version of 'Animal' when they are stopped by the teenage hosts of the show. They tell them it's the wrong song and they want to interview them. After the interview they do a playback version of 'Hysteria'.
They are also presented with a Gold disc for 70,000 sales of the 'Hysteria' album in Norway.
The Lep part starts at 40:59mins and lasts for about 10 minutes.
