Def Leppard performed live on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 19 years ago today and footage of Work It Out is available.

Although the band had played live on the 1992 MTV Awards this was the first performance on a US network television show.
The other guests on this show were actors Teri Hatcher and Bill Paxton.
