Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and his side band Last In Line recently recorded extra tracks for their debut album.

Vivian posted an update about the recordings on facebook saying they had to write and record extra tracks to fulfil the contract signed with Frontiers Records. Lead singer Andrew Freeman has posted more studio photos online which you can see below.

This comes after saying in January that the album had been finished. The photos show Vivian recording guitars with drummer Vinny Appice in the background.

In the same January interview with Eddie Trunk Vivian explained at length why the band may have to wait until early 2016 before being able to release the album and support it with a tour.

Vivian got together with the band to start work on the album again in early December 2014.

Last In Line Album Extra Tracks

Jimmy, Vinny and I were back in rehearsal yesterday. We delivered 10 songs for the Last In Line album, but it turns out the contract requires a couple more. Next time we'll actually read the contract before signing it...

We came up with something really cool and sent the MP3 to Andy so he can work his magic. We'll be back in the studio with Jeff Pilson next week to record. All in a days work, and all good!

Viv.

"We finished up the Last In Line record a couple of days ago and it's beyond expectations. This record absolutely rips and my fingers are raw from shredding! I'm so, so excited about this.

Stay tuned for details of release.

Viv."
