Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by Buddy Wiley of 104.5 KRXO radio yesterday and talked about the 2016 Hysteria cruise.
Joe talked about the Oklahoma City show, 2015 US tour, 2015 studio album, the Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise, 2015 studio album, the Down 'n' Outz - live DVD/third album and working with Emm Gryner.

Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise
"Yeah a phrase coined by Phil Collen. Love it absolutely. Think it's just fantastic. You know very Pirates Of The Caribbean. Yeah you know the rock cruise is something that's kind of taken off over the last four or five years. And we were offered it many - actually at the very embryonic stages of the rock cruises we were offered one. But it was right in the middle of us doing other stuff so we couldn't do it. But having seen the success of bands like KISS and Motley Crue doing it. I mean it's perfect for them because it was called Motley Cruise - it just doesn't get any better than that."
"But the idea of being on a boat sailing around the Caribbean and playing some rock and roll music. It's a whole new experience for us. I'm sure maybe some of the crowd that come to see us may have seen the Motley or the KISS ones. So they won't necessarily be a first fr everybody. But I do think they'll be a lot of virgin sea people out there. And hopefully the weather won't be too bad that they're not all hanging over the balconies puking up while we're in the middle of Pour Some Sugar On Me. It sounds like it should be a lot of fun. It's a four day trip and you know lots of rock and roll. The socialising should be pretty intense because of the fact that you are actually trapped on a boat. So that should be fun. But I'm really looking forward to it."
2015 US Tour
"Well we love touring the States in the summer. It's just something that we've done for countless tours now. A lot of these shows we're also doing with Styx as well. But Tesla you may remember opened for us on the Hysteria tour back in 1987/1988 and they were our touring partners for a good six or seven months. So we really got to know those guys well and they've remained friends of ours ever since. So really forward to be able to share a stage with them once again."
"But yeah you know Def Leppard tour 2015 - last summer we were out co-headlining with KISS. This year we're back out you know proper headline show. Loads of songs to choose from. Very excited that there's a new album in the works as well. So that's something to look forward to later on down the year. But yeah we're looking forward to the tour immensely."
