Voice Of Alexandria - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

2015 Studio Album

"It is actually. We tried to get it ready for the start of the tour but you know that wasn't gonna happen. In typical Def Leppard fashion. But I think you know it's always quality over quantity. We didn't wanna rush it. We wanted to get it right. It sounds amazing. It's the best thing I think we've done in probably about 20 years. So I'm really excited about that and it'll come out some time - some time while we're on tour. So you know whenever that is."

Vivian Campbell

"He played on all the album. It was like there was a just a little bit in the middle where he was off going through the treatment."

Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise

"Caribbean cruise. We're gonna plunder and get booty, I would imagine. I don't know. We've never done it so you know it seems like a lot of bands are doing this. I think what's really good for us is we can - we can start rehearsing some of the new album because we actually haven't sat down and done them. And we didn't wanna play any of the new stuff until it's released. So I think it'll give us a little bit of time because we'll be stuck on a boat. To actually start rehearsing some of the new songs as well so that we can actually start putting them into the live show. I mean this is not until next year. But I still think you know we won't have done any American shows so we need to get it done. So yeah there you go."

Fans Can Get Up Close And Personal

"Absolutely. I think we'll probably be in a different part of the boat. Apparently that's what happens. Otherwise you know we wouldn't get any sleep...I'm sure so we'll see. Like I said I've never even been on a cruise so we'll find out."

Styx/Ricky Phillips

"I'm also doing a thing, talking of Styx, with Ricky Phillips the bass player in Styx. He's doing this album and I'm actually playing some guitar on it as well so that's great as well."
