Joe Benson/Joe Elliott 2011
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by Uncle Joe Benson for the Off The Record show last year and more audio is available.
Joe told the host about how he used to sing with his Mother Cynthia at home in the Crookes area of Sheffield.
The short story can be heard below on the player which also includes all of 'Photograph' after Joe speaks.
Joe was last interviewed by Joe for Off The Record in April 2014 where this audio was probably recorded.

Uncle Joe's The Story - Joe Elliott Interview Quote
Early Harmony Singing
"Me and my Mum used to sing. Every Friday night my Dad used to get this little tape recorder out and I'd learn these songs with her. And it was all these kind of twangy American folk songs and I'd have to do the harmony. And most of the time I'd get them. I'd just get lost towards the end and to this day I still do that. I can start off OK but 'I've got a great harmony for this' and then you get to the end and it doesn't quite move and it's like, dammit."
