Man Made Radio w/ Rhyan - Vivian Campbell Interview Quotes

2015 Studio album

"Yeah it's been a busy for us with the new record we just finished up. Although we did just finish it, it won't actually be released until the latter part of the year. It's sounding amazing actually. It's the best record that I've made in my 23 years with Def Leppard."

2015 Tour Setlist

"Yeah the band's been around a long time so you never know what we're gonna play on this tour, you know. There's not a lot of surprises in terms of the setlist. I mean we're kind of beholden to the hits. We know that the vast majority of people coming to a Def Leppard show expect and want to hear the really big hit songs and we're very fortunate that we have a shitload of those."

"But we do try and make it different every time out. So we'll do different songs that are more production highlights, more visual, deeper albums cuts that we haven't played in a long time. This year we're talking about Paper Sun from the Euphoria record. Which we haven't played in a decade or so. You know it's a bit more guitar centric so that's fun for Phil and I to do that kind of stuff. We'll make the final determination when we're in rehearsals in a couple of weeks. But we always do try and mix it up from the previous American tour."
