Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by Kristianbladet and spoke about the new album.

Joe talked to the magazine about the 2015 studio album, Vivian's health, the relationships in the band and how they got on with each other.

It appears the interview was conducted a while ago long before the tour started.

Kristianbladet - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes (Translated)

2015 Studio Album

"Ninety percent of the material is recorded. Then we'll mix it when we have time. How it sounds? It is very varied. It's not like AC / DC, just rock and roll, but more like the Queen, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles used to do it, very mixed. It is in the school, we have our roots. Though I'm not going to lie, it still sounds like Def Leppard. But you will hear all the bands we grew up with. So as we have interpreted them."

Vivian's Health

"Yes, Vivian is cancer-free now. He underwent stem cell surgery at the end of last year, so everything is fine. He plays really well, sing well, is in good spirits and a glass of wine with the rest of us after the gig. He lives his life like a normal person again."

"While he was ill, he insisted on focusing on the music, which was probably a good thing. He worked his way through it, instead of locking themselves. Which was great for us, but it was certainly the most important for his wife and children. ."
