Sheffield Legends - Lord Mayor Jackie Drayton Quote
"Well it really does give me great pleasure to be here today on this very special occasion. I have to say that when I first came to Sheffield in 1979 I went to work at Westfield Adult Education Centre and actually you had your first concert at Westfield (Joe & Sav nod). And they were still talking about it then in '79 saying they thought it was, you were gonna be big and you certainly have lived up to those expectations. You've done a great, great service to Sheffield. We all know Sheffield. Made In Sheffield mark is a really important thing. It's on Cutlery, it's on Silverware and it's on Steel but it's also on music and also on Def Leppard, wonderful ambassadors for our city, Def Leppard!.".
Sheffield Legends - Joe Elliott Quote
"So we just want to thank everybody that did vote and it's a pleasure to be on the same pavement as Gordon Banks who let's not forget did save - the best save ever against Pele in 1970. And while we're on the subject of football - Go England!.".
Sheffield Legends - Rick Savage Quote
"Thanks for coming down everybody - thanks, everybody that's voted for us. Thank you."
