Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by 89.3 LAFM radio in Launceston earlier today to promote the Australian tour dates.
Joe talked about the previous Australia tours, the longevity of the band, the live show, the success of the Hysteria album, the story of the fan who climbed up a hotel balcony to try to meet Sav in 1983 and the Australia tour.
The three Australian shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth were announced on 25th May with support acts Live, Baby Animals and Electric Mary.

"I suppose the oddest one or the most dangerous one I can think of was Sav, Rick Savage was in his hotel room in 1983 when we'd just kicked in in the States and we were like the new boys and it was just going through the roof. And he was I don't maybe the 17th, 18th floor of the hotel and somebody climbed up the outside from the balcony below on to the balcony of his room. And I was thinking that's - you've got some balls to do that girl. You know it's a long way down if you slip you know what I mean.
