Def Leppard played show 43 of the 2015 World Tour last night in Wantagh, NY with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.
This was the bands first show in Wantagh since 6th August 2014 during the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS.
The 12th show at this venue since a two night stand in August 1993 during the Adrenalize tour.
The show was sold out with almost 15,000 fans in attendance.
The audience were also very loud and enthusiastic as pointed out by Joe at the end of the show during his lengthy speech.
One fan threw a feather boa on stage which had the colours of the Irish flag on it. This was hung around one of the mic stands - see Fan Photos.
It appears Tesla played a slightly shorter set than normal.

"Yeah. That's the Jones Beach we know and love. Oh yeah. That's why we keep coming back here because you guys make a lot of noise and it's always a lot of fun. Weather permitting of course. Which is pretty good tonight. This is nice. No fucking rain for a change. So traditionally right now we invite you to join the band. You wanna join the band for a little while?. For the next four minutes you can actually be in Def Leppard and tell all your mates tomorrow you were actually in the band. You wanna do that?. OK. Well you gotta do just one little thing for us OK?. Simple. If you know it, sing it. Two Steps Behind."
Joe Elliott - Pre Rock Of Ages Speech
"Thank you. Thank you very much. Let's have a really good look at you this evening. It's 35 years ago since we first played here in New York which was I don't know - my 21st birthday we opened for AC/DC somewhere in Manhattan. And we've been playing this place so many times. That' I've actually almost forgotten but we've done some fucking great gigs here. I remember one time Phil played Mick Ronson's guitar. Ian Hunter from Mott The Hoople got up and did 'All The Young Dudes' with us. About, I don't know, ten years ago. We've played here with many great bands and we've played here in the beautiful weather. We've played here in the fucking pissing rain when we daren't move. In case one of us fell over and you filmed it and put us on YouTube. As you do."
"None the less it's always a pleasure to come and again tonight it's been fucking great so thank you very much. And you made a lot of noise as well which makes us very happy. Can you make a little bit more for that boy over there. Stand up Rick Allen. He - I think he's gonna introduce this one for ya."
