Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott hosted another edition of his weekly radio show last night on Planet Rock.

This weeks show included songs by U2, KISS and Peter Gabriel.

Joe once again talked about attending a U2 show in Boston, MA last week.

More information has come to light about that show including audio/video of Bono singing a snippet of PSSOM that was unheard on fan broadcasts on the night.

The full playlist is shown below along with a few of Joe's on air quotes.

The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

We don't go on still until 11pm. The crowds are starting to pour in. Think Reading Festival circa 1980 and you'll be kinda close. We just arrived in from Detroit. Massive show in Detroit last night. To celebrate that fact I have to play this."

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

"There are a plethora of versions of that song that I could've chosen. The original by Joni Mitchell. The hit single. the UK hit single version by a band called Matthew's Southern Comfort. Or that particular version there which is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young from their album Deja Vu and I played it because we actually played Woodstock. The actual field where the festival took place in 1969. Def Leppard played it last week. So there we have it Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young with Woodstock."

Show Outro

And that my friends is about it for this week all the way from Oshkosh in Wisconsin. I shall be back with you next week at the same time from Holmdel, New Jersey. The very back yard of my very good friend Jon Bon Jovi. Maybe he'll invite me 'round for a barbecue, who knows. Until then. I'm gonna leave you with this piece of magic from an album called Makin' Magic. This from 1977, is Mr. Pat Travers with a song that Def Leppard once played, sadly only in the Spoon Factory. This is Rock N Roll Susie. Until next week see ya!."
