On This Day in Def Leppard History - 12th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including guitarist Phil Collen joining the band in London, England 33 years ago on this day in July 1982.
Phil joined on 12th July 1982 as the band were half way through the recording of the 'Pyromania' album. He replaced Pete Willis who was fired the day before at ex-manager Peter Mensch's house in London.
Also on this day in 1999 the 'Promises/Back In Your Face' double A-Side was released single in the UK. The first single taken from the 'Euphoria' album which reached number 41 on the UK singles chart.
The band continue the 2015 world tour tonight in Darien Center, NY which was last played in August 2014. Check back later for the setlist.
