Def Leppard performed a playback version of Heaven Is on UK TV in January 1993 with Joe singing live lead vocals and video footage available.
The mostly playback performance on legendary UK TV show Top Of The Pops dates from 21st January 1993. The appearance was part of the brief UK/European press tour to promote the single.
The music was all playback but Joe's lead vocal was live. The closest the band came to performing a full live version of this song which was released as a single in UK/Europe and Australia/NZ.
Phil Collen used his white Gibson SG guitar that he keeps at his home in London. He also used the guitar two days later when the band did a full playback performance on Saturday morning show Going Live!. Also filmed at BBC Television Centre.
