Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed earlier today by RTE Radio 1 in Ireland and he talked about the band's plans for 2016.

Joe talked about his Louder Bangin' Strong Ale, the 2015 studio album, the tour, the Pyromania Residency and a cruise.

Phil and Vivian had mentioned the residency would likely be in early 2016 earlier this week.

As for the cruise this is the first mention of it. Possibly something like the KISS Kruise which happened for a fourth time last October/November over five days. The band sailed from Miami, FL and played three different concerts (one acoustic/two electric) featuring rare songs.

Country Wide - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

2015 Studio Album

"I am yes. I mean literally full on it's all pistons pumping at the moment. Actually in studio album wise it's probably about that yeah. But we've always been about - you know what we're bringing comparisons in again - it's always been about quality not quantity for us. We'd rather do a great record every three, four, five years than mediocre ones every year because somebody is making us do them. You know we - a little bit like you know any of the craft breweries, we're actually a cottage industry ourselves now. We're not signed to a label so we do what we want when we want and it works great."

2015 Tour/Las Vegas Return/Cruise

"We're gonna be on the road until December. Yeah we just haven't announced everything yet. And we'll also be out next year as well in the early part - you know February/March we'll be doing a few things. We've got a cruise lined up and another residency in Vegas lined up. You know it's all hands on deck for us at the moment."
