Def Leppard played show 95 of the 2015 World Tour earlier tonight in Newcastle, England with 16 songs performed.
The show took place at the Metro Radio Arena.
The first show in Newcastle since 24th June 2008 at the start of the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge world tour.
The band's 13th show in Newcastle.
The band first played here in August 1979. The first show after they signed to Phonogram Records.
The third time the band have played this arena. The first was as the Newcastle Arena on the Slang tour.
Apart from a gig at Newcastle university in 1980 all other shows here were played at the City Hall or the Mayfair including one night supporting AC/DC.
'Let's Go' and 'Dangerous' were played in the same 16 song setlist as Dublin and Belfast.
In 2008 when DL last co-headlined with Whitesnake the same setlist was played at all 10 shows. Although the order of a couple of songs (Animal/Armageddon It) were swapped around on different nights.
Joe played a snippet from a Lindisfarne song before 'Two Steps Behind'. The band are from the local area.
Rick had #HowayTheLads on his drumkit tonight. A local football related "Geordie" saying - Geordie being to Newcastle what "Cockney" slang is to London (for anyone outside the UK).

"You guys like to sing right?. What?. What?, OK - (sings Lindisfarne song) - Oh I nearly got it right. That was a quick learn about an hour ago. We actually covered a Lindisfarne song when we did the YEAH! album. It only came out as a bonus track. It was a song called Winter Song which is becoming very appropriate as it's getting pretty cold. By the way there's probably about three people in here tonight who one year ago today saw the Down 'n' Outz play here. One year to the fucking day."
"There was about four people in. Which is good. But you can sing. I heard ya. So no excuses for this next one OK because as you can see. It's just you and me on this one OK?. So here's the deal. Do you wanna join the band for the next four minutes. You can tell all your friends tomorrow that you were actually in Def Leppard. You wanna do that. Alright well, all you gotta do - if you know it, sing it. Two Steps Behind."
NOTE - Looking back at the DNO tour dates it was actually 14th December 2014 at the Riverside venue for that gig - oops!.
