Friday, 4th December 2015

Def Leppard 2015.

Def Leppard will start their 2015 tour of UK and Ireland in Dublin in 2 days on 6th December.

The 10 date tour was announced on 27th March this year when the band also (sort of) confirmed their new album would be self titled.

This countdown focuses on the ten shows and the band's live history in each city with links to the show pages.

The 9th show takes place in London, England on 18th December.

This will be the band's 35th full or promo show in London since the first visit in September 1979.

Def Leppard - London, England Live History

The first full show here since ending the 2011 Mirrorball tour at the same venue. Now under its first ever sponsorship name. The same sponsors as the venues in Belfast and Glasgow.

A short three song medley played before an NFL game and without Vivian Campbell.

A club show to launch the new album 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' in a tiny venue holding just 800 people.

The second show on the band's legendary 3 Continents In One Day record attempt.

Two In The Round shows at the now closed Earls Court Arena and largest indoor crowds the band have ever played to in the UK.

The first BIG show with Vivian in the band and part of The Freddie Mercury Tribute show. Their only appearance at the old stadium.

The first full scale headline arena shows the band had ever played in England or UK/Ireland as a whole. Last full shows here with Steve Clark in the banda although hey would return in February 1989 to perform playback at The Brit Awards and on TV.

Four nights supporting AC/DC and Rick Allen celebrated his 16th birthday at the first show.
