Girl w/ Phil Collen 1980
A 1980 concert by Girl featuring Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen will be broadcast by BBC 6 Music on 9th August.
The 'In Concert' show was originally broadcast in 1980 and took place on 25th February at the BBC's Paris Theatre.
The full set will be aired again on 9th August at 3am and then available for 29 days on the BBC iPlayer. It was last broadcast in May 2012.
Phil's future band mates in Def Leppard would play a similar show there later the same year.
The band line up at this show featured Phil on co-lead guitars, Phil Lewis (vocals), Simon Laffy (bass - currently in Manraze), Gerry Laffy (guitars) and Dave Gaynor (drums).
The nine song set features a UF.O. cover. The band had supported U.F.O. on two UK tours and around Europe.
