Thursday, 23rd April 2015

Steve Clark.

On This Day in Def Leppard History - 23rd April, the following concerts and events took place. Including the birth of original guitarist Steve Clark in 1960 who would have celebrated his 55th birthday today.

A local fan in Sheffield posted a photo of his gravesite earlier today.

The band performed twice on Steve's birthday. In 1979 when he turned 19 and again in 1980 on his 20th. Steve sadly passed away in January 1991 during the recording of the 'Adrenalize' album.

The band went on to perform twice more on this date after his death in 1997 and 2008.

The band continue the 2015 world tour tonight in Edmonton, AB which was last played in October 2007. Check back later for the setlist.

As of 2015, Def Leppard (will) have played 5 times on this date.
