Def Leppard's classic 1987 song Pour Some Sugar On Me will appear during a scene in The Simpsons Guy tomorrow on FOX TV in the USA.
The Simpsons and Family guy will join together for an hour long special tomorrow for the first time. It airs from 9-10pm on FOX and currently has no UK air date.
The show is episode 1 of season 13 of Family Guy with the shows characters visting The Simpsons in Springfield. PSSOM is set to be used during a car wash scene with Homer and Peter. Possibly inspired by Conan O'Brien.
Before this The Simpsons returns for Season 26 at 8pm on the same channel with an episode titled 'Clown in the Dumps'. During this show a well known character is set to be killed off.

The band have appeared on The Simpsons once before on the Season 9 episode called 'Bart Carny'. The 'Def Leppard' pyrite font logo is shown on a framed picture that is a prize for a ring toss game - as shown below.

"My favourite scene though is the car wash that Peter and Homer do to find Peter's stolen car. Along with the soundtrack of Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me", a song that I love, we have a very sexy, a very revealing montage of Homer and Peter washing cars. Honestly, I don't think I've laughed so much watching a Family Guy episode as much as this sequence. Seeing these two unsexy characters act all sexy as they wash cars (which even Fat Tony despises) was the highlight of the episode for me as it brings two characters from two of my favourite animated shows and makes them equally as funny together."
