Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been confirmed to appear at a Teenage Cancer Trust show in London on 11th November today.
The event is called "An Evening Of Who Music In Aid Of The Teenage Cancer Trust" and takes place on 11th November at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Also appearing are Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, ex-Oasis/Beady Eye singer Liam Gallagher, Geddy Lee of Rush and many more. The trust was set up by Who singer Roger Daltrey who hosts annual shows in London each Spring at the Royal Albert Hall.
Joe mentioned The Who's 50th anniversary tour on his 25th October Planet Rock show, expressing disappointment that they had re-scheduled their Irish shows until 2015 which meant he could not attend.
You may recall Joe covered The Who's song 'Love Reign O'er Me' in October 2012 for the 'Who Are You: An All Star tribute To The Who' album. This has become a live favourite for Pearl Jam in recent years so Eddie Vedder may take this one from him. Joe will be singing with the house band as stated below.
