The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome it's the Joe Elliott show on Planet Rock and welcome to a very blustery Joe's Garage. It almost blew away this week. The weather is dreadful and if you've got one of those winter sniffles with the coughing and the wheezing, then I really sympathise because I've had it all week. It's just starting to clear now thank god. I've been in the studio a little bit but not too much because quite frankly I could barely talk, never mind sing. So let's cheer ourselves up a little bit shall we. Gary Holton's the guy to do it. This is the Heavy Metal Kids."

Show Outro

"If I was to say that was from an album called Peter Gabriel it wouldn't be much of a clue because he's got three or four albums called Peter Gabriel if I remember correctly. So I will say this from Bob Ezrin produced first ever solo album by Peter Gabriel. That is Moribund The Burgermeister. And before that we heard Hawkwind with a song called Hurry On Sundown which quite rightly I dedicated to the memory of Stoner."

"And on that note we come to the end of another show, been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. Until then let's go out on a high. From his first ever solo album back in 1975. This is Ian Hunter and I Get So Excited. Until next week see ya!."
