Joe talked about the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS, the second Down 'n' Outz album/band history, singing Tie Your mother Down in 1992 at the Freddie Mercury tribute and PSSOM.

The interview lasted for 9 minutes and may be available for download soon.

Torg And Elliott - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

Summer Tour 2014

"Well I suppose. No matter what you say. If anybody says that they're not in competition they're probably lying. But it's not a case of you know sabotage or anything like that. I want them to go down as well as they possibly can and I dare say they wish us the same. But what it does, it does bring out the best in you. You just know that you can't go on and just have an average night cause you're on stage sharing a stage with one of the most iconic show bands that there are because they definitely do put on a show. I mean they've got great songs but it's also the visuals as well. And we don't do the make up but we've always been known for putting on a show regarding lights and audience and all that kind of stuff and the screens these days you know with all the content that's on them."

"So it is I believe a tour like this is a classic cliche of one and one makes three. Forget all you learnt at school about mathematics. One and one does make three in these situations because it's a win win situation. You've got two great bands on the same night. We've known each other socially for a long time. It's the first time that we've ever played together but there won't be anything weird because there's just too much respect for each other as musicians and as people."
