The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all, welcome it is the Joe Elliott show right here on the fantastic Planet Rock and you're all very welcome. I'm very happy to be with you this week in fact I'm actually ecstatic to be with you because I didn't think I was gonna make the show. The rock and roll pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu had me down - four days bedridden I was but I do believe I will get through this sixty minutes of fantastic music without coughing or spluttering too much. So we'll get the show started with my brand new signature tune from Aerosmith."

John Kongos

"Now back in 1982 when Def Leppard were recording the Pyromania album we went into a little studio in London to record some synthesisers that were played by a guy called Tom Dolby who went on to have a big hit with a song called She Blinded Me With Science. Well the studio that we went into belonged to this gentleman. Who had a couple of massive hits in 1971 in the UK. He was from South Africa and his name is John Kongos." - (Tapestry Studios)

Show Outro

"And that mouthful of useless information just about brings this show to an end. I did manage to get through it without coughing and spluttering, thank the lord. So hopefully I shall be back with you in better shape next week. Until then I'm gonna leave you with this track just because it really gets my juices flowing folks. From the album The Suburbs this is Arcade Fire and Ready To Start. Until next week see ya! (coughs) sorry!."
