The Dennis Miller Show - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

KISS Tour

"It's something that's been talked about in the pipeline for three or four years now. Myself and Gene went on this little jaunt around South America called the Rock n Roll All-Stars. And it was me and him and a bunch of guys from GNR and The Cult and Alice In Chains and Billy Idol and what have you. It just came up as one of those conversations on the plane. He says You know what, we should tour together one day. So our orbits finally kind of aligned this year so we're gonna do 40 odd shows this summer starting in the middle of June."

Press Conference

"We had a lot of fun at the press conference as well yesterday. It was about 10am so it was maybe four hours after the earthquake. And of course one of the first questions they asked us was did you feel the earthquake. And I just looked at him and said I thought Gene had dropped his wallet. And that set the tone for the day."

"We're also employing somebody and we're taking them actually on tour. So that they can work in production. You know they're not gonna be singing but they will be working in the back making sure that it all runs smoothly."
