The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Hello everyone welcome to the Joe Elliott show on the fantastic Planet Rock where else would you be at this time of night. Sixty minutes of fantastic music coming up. I've just stepped out of the studio actually to record the show - because Def Leppard have been recording in Joe's Garage for the last two weeks and the session is starting to wind down. We've got some great material on the go but we've gotta start winding up for a 42-date tour of the US co-headlining with KISS. More on that as the summer progresses. Right now this is Uriah Heep."

Phil Collen/Girl

"Now as I left the studio a little while ago Phil was doing some guitars and it just reminded me that he's been in the band now for 32 years. But he was in a band before Leppard. You may well remember a band called Girl. That's have a little taste shall we."

"And before that from the album Sheer Greed, all those years ago, we heard Phil Collen and Girl with My Number."

Show Outro

"And on that not so gloomy note I shall say tara for now. I shall be back with you same time next week so don't touch that dial Until then here's a little bit of T. Rex B Side style. Yes their B Sides were really, really as good as their A Sides back then. Then being 1972. Until next week I shall leave you with a little bit of Jitterbug Love See Ya!."
