The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to the Joe Elliott show on where else but Planet Rock. All the way this week from Seattle, Washington where it is a day off on the Def Leppard/KISS tour which is well under way. We've already visited Salt Lake City, Denver, Colorado, Portland, Oregon tomorrow night Seattle. And thinking about last week's show the 200th celebration. It was just so difficult to nail it down to sixty minutes I thought you know what I just can't do this we're gonna carry on tonight as though it's the 200th show over again. the amount of bands I couldn't fit in. Bands like Sparks, New York Dolls, Be Bop Deluxe, Cockney Rebel, Alice Cooper ahh the list goes on. Let's get it started this week shall we with the mighty Mott."

Show Outro

"Which brings us nicely to the end of the show which has essentially been Desert Island Discs part two. From Seattle, Washington I bid thee farewell until next week where we shall be with you from the heart of the music industry Los Angeles. Until then I'm gonna leave you with this last song. And yes Heather, one of my more avid listeners, it is possibly the song I have chosen the most over the four years I've been doing this show but I'm not gonna leave it out now The Tubes all the way from San Francisco with the wonderful White Punks On Dope. Until next week from LA, see ya!."
