The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Well it is an anniversary of sorts but it's absolutely a celebration. Welcome everybody to the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock. Avery special Joe Elliott show for this is my 200th show for the station. Count them 200. We started all the way back in 2010. It was only supposed to be six shows but here we are in 2014 still rockin' and rollin'. And indeed we do have some fantastic rock and roll for ya tonight folks. But we also have a competition and what a competition. A chance to win two tickets and accommodation and a Meet and Greet with myself and the Down 'n' Outz at Planet Rockstock in December. Stay tuned for more details. But let's get this show started shall we with the 20th Century Boy himself Marc Bolan and T. Rex."

Show Outro

"Boy talk about an anthem for a generation that is for me the best song ever written and I just can't see anything for me ever topping it. The title track from their 1972 album All The Young Dudes that is of course Mott The Hoople with a wonderful song written by Mr. David Bowie. And that my friends brings this show to an end. The 200th show amazing stuff. Don't forget go online to Planet Rock for your chance to win two tickets to Rockstock which includes accommodation and a Meet and Greet with myself and the Down 'n' Outz. And talking of I'm gonna finish the show with the Down 'n' Outz. This song may be 45 years old but to me it's still a teenager. I dedicate it to all you people out there with your inner teenager still ruling the roost. This until next week is Rock And Roll Queen. See ya!."
