Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott again paid tribute to Steve Clark on his radio show last night following the 23rd anniversary of his death this week.

Joe played the 2013 live version of Gods Of War from VIVA! Hysteria for Steve on his radio show last night. Including the 1988 live guitar solo from 'In The Round-In Your Face' at the start.

The studio version of the song was played in 2013 in tribute to Steve.

The Joe Elliott Show - 11th January 2014 Quotes

"And welcome to the end of a week which has been a bit of a reflective week for the members of Def Leppard. I shall get into that more a little later on."

"Now I mentioned at the top of the show that it was a very reflective week for the members of Def Leppard. One and all really because it's the anniversary this week of the death of a couple of people that were very, very close to the band. One that we grew up listening to as fans and one that we made some fantastic music with."

"We've always regarded that as Steve's baby. That's Gods Of War the live version from the album VIVA! Hysteria which has got a nice little snippet of Steve live from 1988 glued onto the front of it. And before that the remix that myself and Scott Gorham did about two of three years ago of the title track from Thin Lizzy's 1976 classic album Jailbreak."
