Steve joined 36 years ago today after meeting Pete Willis at a college library. Steve was the fifth member to join Def Leppard following founder members Rick Savage, Pete Willis, Tony Kenning and Joe Elliott. Steve helped them define their sound as a twin guitar band.
Also 30 years ago on this day in 1984 the band played their first ever show in Australia at the Narara Music Festival in Somersby (near Sydney).
