104. 9 The Wolf - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

2015 Canadian Tour

"It's been a while. We're really looking forward to that whole thing. The fact that we're actually doing a full Canadian tour. As opposed to just coming and doing you know Toronto or Montreal or whatever you know as part of an American tour. It's actually an official Canadian tour which I'm thrilled at because you know I love playing in Canada it's great."

2015 Studio Album In Time For Tour?

"It definitely is. We've got 15 songs. Some of them are completely finished. Joe's actually singing today actually he's been in there everyday just doing vocals whenever he gets a chance. I've got a couple of little touch ups to do and a couple of guitar solos and some backing vocals. Which I can do at home and just send them in but I'm probably gonna actually go back to Dublin in January as well."

2015 Studio Album Style?

"I can tell them they better be grateful for anything we five them. You know we spend all this time. Most people go guys we wanna hear new Def Leppard albums, new Def Leppard and you put something out and they complain. We definitely stopped worrying about that. We actually make music for us and hope - which is what we've always done in the past and you just hope that fans like it and if they don't that's down to them it's not down to us which is fine if we doing what we can and that. We love doing it like I said I'm really excited about this new album it sounds really cool. And yeah we're just waiting for that to come out. I think they'll be pleased. They better be pleased! you know what I mean?."
