Def Leppard and KISS have been challenged by Motley Crue to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Lep's 2011 UK tour mates took part last night in Virginia Beach and challenged KISS and Def Leppard to do the same on stage and donate 10 thousand dollars each.
The idea for this was started by former New Orleans Saints American Football player Steve Gleason who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011.
View the fan shot video below from Motley Crue's Virginia Beach, VA show on 20th August where Nikki Sixx mentions Lep and KISS.
KISS have accepted the challenge as per Paul Stanley's tweet below. It seems likely if Lep accept they might also take part tomorrow at the Indy show.
.@MotleyCrue just called @KISSOnline @Aerosmith and @def_leppard to the ice bucket challenge. You have to it onstage and match our 10k #ALS
