Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen's Delta Deep band have been recording for the past week with Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert Deleo who has posted studio photos online.
Phil announced last year that Robert Deleo would play on the album and the session has now taken place.
As seen in the photos below Robert brought in his own bass rig and long time engineer Russ Fowler for the session. Russ worked on STP albums 'No. 4' in 1999, the self titled album in 2010 and the latest EP 'High Rise' featuring new vocalist Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
A facebook update in March revealed other album guests including Joe Elliott and David Coverdale.
Last year Phil said they might play live in April in some Southern US states but as yet no live plans have been announced.
