Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by VH1 Classic On Tap last month and spoke about Vivian Campbell's current health.
The full interview was broadcast last night on the show with Joe talking about the Summer Tour 2014, Pyromania residency, the next album recording sessions, Ded Flatbird, the Tom Cruise ROA movie version of PSSOM, RARHOF, the KISS induction situation, Black Star Riders production/Thin Lizzy, Vivian's health, The Bridge movie, Slang Deluxe Edition and re-records of old songs.
He gave a small update on Vivian's health saying he is currently doing well.

"Well he was in fantastic form yesterday. So from what I can gather. I can't see through him to how the remission's going but he is in remission. So as far as I'm aware - I mean he's looking forward to doing this tour and he's looking forward to living a long healthy life. So that's from what I know. It's not something that I ask him every day because you know I think he'd just like get bored of my saying You OK? You OK? You OK? But I did ask him yesterday cause I've not seen him for a couple of weeks I said are you OK? and he said Yeah I'm fine so he seems to be doing really well."
