On This Day in Def Leppard History - 30th April, the following concerts and events took place. Including an appearance on the front cover of iconic US magazine Rolling Stone 22 years ago on this day in 1992.

The band were interviewed by Animal Instinct writer David Fricke as they conducted rehearsals for a new guitar player in Los Angeles. The five page article titled 'To Hell And Back' also told the story of the making of 'Adrenalize' and how the band dealt with the death of Steve Clark. Plus an exclusive photo shoot by Mark Seliger featuring one of the first pictures of Rick Allen without a shirt on after his accident.

Also on this day in 1993 the band started the European leg of the Adrenalize 'Seven Day Weekend' world tour in Stockholm, Sweden. They paid tribute to Mick Ronson (who had died the day before) by playing a short acoustic version of 'Ziggy Stardust'.

'Foolin'' was played live for the first time on this day in 1983 at the second US headline show of the Pyromania tour in Amarillo, TX.

As of 2014, Def Leppard have played 3 times on this date.
