Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott hosted another edition of his weekly radio show last night on Planet Rock.

This weeks show included classic songs by Montrose, David Bowie and Def Leppard. Joe revealed that the song played, Love And Affection, would have been the next single released from the Hysteria album after Rocket in 1989 had they kept releasing them.

The full playlist is shown below along with a few of Joe's on air quotes.

The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to the Joe Elliott show on the very wonderful Planet Rock. It's been a very busy week at Elliott Towers this week I've been cracking on with the Down 'N' Outz second album and took a little trip over to London on early Thursday morning in time for the VIVA! Hysteria, London UK premiere on Thursday evening in front of some rabid fans. I've never seen people stand up and clap in a cinema before. It was very bizarre. Anyway moving on a little later on in the show I shall be playing you an exclusive from the VIVA! Hysteria upcoming CD and DVD. Until then let's get the show on the road with Montrose."

Def Leppard/Show outro

"Talking of songs creeping up the US airplay charts. Here's one from 1987 re-released in live form. Yes it is Def Leppard from the VIVA! Hysteria forthcoming DVD/Blu-ray and CD this would've been single number eight had we not said 'no more!'. We decided to put it out now all these years later. Ladies and gentleman please enjoy until next week Love And Affection. See ya!."
