Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was recently interviewed by Classicrockrevisited and said Joe Elliott has mixed the new Manraze single.

Phil talked about the VIVA! Hysteria film, the residency in Las Vegas, the staging/video, the Hysteria album, the setlist, his hand/finger injury, Def Leppard recording plans, Manraze, work with Debbi Blackwell-Cook and his health/fitness DVD project.

He also mentioned that Joe was likely to mix the new Manraze single - the lead track on their three song EP mentioned yesterday - at his Dublin studio. Plans may have changed since this interview was conducted earlier this month but Phil did arrive back home two days ago from London and told DJ Eddie Trunk the new EP has now been mixed. Phil also seemingly gives away some other info about Joe.

Manraze recorded the final version of their debut album Surreal at Joe's studio in April 2006 with co-producer Ger McDonnell.

Manraze Plans?

"I've got to text or phone Joe, who is mixing the new single. The new single is fucking killer. We finished it and his wife just had a baby, so he should be okay now. I didn't want to push it, but he should be okay to mix it."

"The songs sound fucking great. I am so pleased. The Manraze stuff sounds great."

Phil Collen - 24th September facebook Quote

"Doing lots of press for Viva Hysteria. I'm including Manraze in the talks. We're releasing a new ep hopefully in about 6 weeks. The lead song is brilliant."
