The full interview goes into more detail about the recording plans.

Sixx Sense - Phil Collen/Vivian Campbell Interview Quotes

Ded Flatbird

Phil - "We went to rehearse Good Morning Freedom and Rick just stopped playing because he said the last time I played this I had two arms so I had to rethink everything he said just give me a minute here. And that was the first time he played that song since. I mean it's the first time me and Vivian had played it ever. So it was interesting he had to kind of readjust."

New Def Leppard EP

Phil - "Depends on what happens you know we're notorious for taking ages."

Vivian - "If we made a commitment to do an album I mean that is easily a year. Unfortunately it is what it is. You'd like to think that as we get more experienced we'd be able to knock out a record a bit quicker. But we've tried and we've failed countless times so you know just being realistic about it. And we can't really afford to do that. It doesn't make financial sense as you know yourself I mean you're making albums for your core fans. You're not making albums in the hopes of selling millions of records. That's not gonna happen. That's not to say it's not important to do that but for us it's further compounded by the fact that we live all over the world."
