Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott recently revealed he has been recording an album with Emm Gryner and more information is available.

Following the discovery last week of an interview with Vegas Rocks magazine from May 2012 it was revealed that Joe has been recording songs with Emm for an album. Emm actually started tweeting about their work together as far back as December 2011 and up to June 2012. See the tweets below.

Joe mentioned the pair had collaborated for around six or seven months before the 2012 interview.

As you may recall from news stories dating back to 2002 Joe performed with Emm at some of her shows in Ireland. So live dates after the release of the album seem likely. Their first recorded work together was a new duet version of Emm's 2006 song 'Almighty Love' which was first released in 2010 on the 'Stray Bullets' EP and later on the 'Gem and I' album. Almighty love with Joe Elliott

"Written in a hotel room on tour maybe six years ago, this is the second version of this song. Joe from Def Leppard really liked the 'summer of high hopes' version and asked me to send him this version. He sang on it and my little twelve year old self melted! He really brings something amazing to this recording and this song inspired the whole idea of guest vocalists and duets."

See, "I" at least know who Emm Gryner is.
