Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen is a guest on two songs from Orange County metal band Hour Eleven's debut album.
The self titled debut album was released on 30th April with Phil contributing guitar and backing vocals to two songs - 'Get Up' and 'Struggle'.
'Get Up' was released on 2nd April as the second single from the album. It was given away as a free download on facebook for a limited time.
The band had posted a photo of themselves with Phil on twitter back in February and it turns out Phil was working on their album at the time. Phil's wife Helen took the band's recent promotional photos with video from the shoot (at Phil's home) available on their YouTube channel. Listen to clips of both songs below. I don't know the inside politics as to why Phil contributed to the album, but I might guess that he see's something in this band to many others see as well - Hour Eleven is a Very talented band. Phil's contributions to the album are as expected - Amazing, but so is the entire album and thus, they compliment the body of work without taking anything away from Hour Eleven's greatness."
