Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by KOMP 92.3 radio yesterday to promote the VIVA Hysteria! residency.
Joe talked about the opening shows of the residency, the band names for Ded Flatbird, how the shows came about, watching audience footage/crowd singing, Rick's artwork, his Planet Rock radio show, the state of rock music in 2013/fan relationships with music and the greatest gift he's ever given himself (his son).
KOMP 92.3 - Joe Elliott Interview Quote
"The crowds were astonishing. We did a lot of preparation for this obviously so we kind of - we had a good feeling it was gonna work. But even ourselves when we came off it was like this is really good."
"We've got a pool of about 35 songs and we can only really play 25 so there's 10 that we can just keep moving them in and out. So the opening set will never be the sane twice."
