Steve Clark 1960-1991
On This Day in Def Leppard History - 17th January, the following concerts and events took place. Including the funeral of Steve Clark at Wisewood Cemetery, Sheffield in 1991.
The private event was attended by close family, friends and the rest of the band only. The cemetery is located in the Loxely Valley area of Sheffield not far from where Steve grew up.
Steve Clark Funeral - Fan Club Statement 1991
"Firstly there was a private family funeral which took place on Thursday 17th January in Sheffield. This was attended by Steve's family, the Band and immediate friends only. It was fittingly a very cold dismal day, sleeting and snowing some of the time. It was a very touching and emotional service. A very caring and sensitive tribute to a great man."
