Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has given another update about his new band Last In Line.

The band features Vivian on guitars, singer Andrew Freeman, bassist Jimmy Bain, drummer Vinny Appice and keyboardist Claude Schnell. They intend to make their live debut in the US with warm up shows before playing European festivals. Vivian was again updating people via facebook after the latest rehearsal.

Drummer Vinny Appice was recently interviewed about the band at the NAMM show and a video is available below.

"We had another Last In Line rehearsal last night and I'm still buzzing about how great it's sounding (or maybe that's my ears ringing 'cause we play so loud!)."

"There's a very genuine excitement and energy going on when we play, as we lay claim to our heritage. We can't wait to do this live!"

Artisan News - Vinny Appice Quote

"We just jammed one night. Viv called up and said do you wanna jam - he was playing with Steel Panther and they played Rainbow In The Dark and he had such a good time playing it that he went, you know what this is cool now, called me up, 'you wanna jam?', Yeah! let's jam so we all got together and we played - and we haven't played those songs in 30 something years and it was tight. So he said do you wanna do some dates and I said let's schedule it and it'll be fun."
